Welcome to In.Local - A Cincinnati Music Show!

Hello! 

Welcome to the temporary place where I'll be writing about my Inhaler show titled In.Local.

So just a quick introduction, my name is Nick Barrows and I am the new local music director at Inhailer Radio and I am hosting a brand new show every Saturday from 1 to 3 PM Eastern time that focuses on nothing but Cincinnati area musicians and bands. A long time ago I was the entertainment editor at an alt-paper called The Citizen that covered the uptown U.C. area and downtown Cincinnati. I've been in several bands over the years, but most importantly, I'm simply a music fan. I am over the moon to not only host the show but also have these local music director duties. I have so many plans and ideas and if I can get to just a quarter of them it will be a success. It has been a very long time since I've done music focused writing or blogging so please forgive my novice skills, but hopefully with time and some practice, I can get this blog to be "serviceable".

For the most part, quite simply, this is probably where I will write about the show, weekly song playlist maybe even a musician/band spotlight who knows and the space may only be temporary. I will most likely move this over to the inhaler boards but there is some technical stuff that I have to work out. 

If you're not familiar with inhaler radio, I'll obviously post a link to the station, but a little background:

That's from the website Inhailer which, of course you can stream 24/7. we also have the inhailer app that you can listen to or if you wanna go old-school via radio at WGUC 90.9 HD 3.

Well that ought a do it for now just a reminder the first show is this Saturday, April 6, 1 - 3 PM on inhailer radio and the show is called In.Local.
